Moose's First Month of Piano Lessons

We are super proud of Moose and how well he is taking to his piano lessons. He has a great teacher who really seems to know how to bring out the best in the kids.

Gwen, his teacher, uses the Suzuki method and has really high standards, but she also knows lots of great lines and tricks. One of my favorite (especially good for our sometimes intense firstborn), "Just try it. It will either be wrong or it will be right."

Old Mother Cupboard?

This cutie patootie loves to find new nests and has recently decided to co-op one of the kitchen cupboards.

Every time she finishes I put the items back down on the bottom shelf. "Mama, why did you put things in my nest?" she asks with a hint of frustration.

So if you're playing Hide and Go Seek you now know where to look for Jelly Bean, though the giggles coming from the cupboard might give her away anyway.
