Go Cardinals!!!
We were so thrilled to cheer the Redbirds on to victory.
Our friend, Jake, pointed out that the Cardinals were winning every game we watched at their house. So when it game to the World Series we just had to drive up the hill to their house even though we actually get Fox.

What an amazing game game six turned out to be. Our friends, Jake and Deana, are not huge baseball fans, but the agreed it was awesome. The tension of that game made it hard to sleep that night. I can't imagine what it was like for the players knowing the had a chance to actually win the World Series the next night. How did they sleep?
This is how Os watched part of the game. Nothing like the focus of a die hard fan.
I am not-so-secretly happy for another reason. The Cards went to the World Series in 2004 and 2006, both years when we had a son. This year they went and we didn't have a baby, so see, Honey, no need to have anymore kids. Wink, wink.
