We had dinner Friday night at A16 which is a hip Italian place. The food was unique, but enjoyable and we had some great wine. The sommelier knew it was our anniversary trip so he sent over tastes of a couple dessert wines. I loved the Lacrima di Morro d'Alba, a red Italian wine that was sweet, but not cloying.

One of the things Tyler wanted to do during the trip was talk about our goals for the upcoming year and dream up a five year plan. I loved that he showed so much vision for our family and it was fun debriefing everything from kids to exercise.

Today we slept in, had a big breakfast, walked around the Haight-Ashbury area (lots of thrift shops), got coffee, and then went to Yank Sing for lunch. We had never had dim sum before and we thought we lived so close to San Francisco we'd better try it. The experience was great, picking out beautiful dough wrapped goodies with deliciousness inside from the carts as they passed by. We both decided we would love to go to a dim sum place in Chinatown next time and really have no idea what we were eating.
