We had the awesome opportunity to go to Game 1 of the NLCS.
Os's parents were in town and as we watched the Cardinals beat the Nationals to move on to the NLCS we all looked around at each other thinking, "Should we try and go?"
It was a great day for baseball. San Fran is not known for warm ball games any time of the year so I brought along long underwear for us all, but we didn't even need it.
We tailgated with Jake, Deana and Uncle Reed, even though they are Giants fans.

The game was amazing!
We were in the bleachers, so it could have been a little rowdy, but everyone around us was kind, especially since they could tell the boys were a little uncomfortable.
Moose walked into the stadium with no red showing fully aware that he was in hostile territory. BiggiE was okay until the game started. He had never seen his team rooted against so fiercely and he did not like it.
I quickly put the boys between Os and Uncle Drew and it was really neat to see the strength they gained being with men they trusted. They quickly relaxed and started cheering on their Cards.
Then, in the 2nd inning there was a magical baseball moment. David Freese, hit a home run and it arced high in the late afternoon light and came falling straight toward us. It really felt like time slowed down. The ball landed several seats in front of us. You can see us in this clip, we're about 20 seconds in: Freese home run
