Tree Cutting 2012

We had some extra help looking for our Christmas tree this year.

All set to bring her home.  (We actually picked a pretty horrible tree as detailed in our Christmas letter which I'll post soon.)

 

Thomas Nails & More

Jelly Bean is thrilled that she can have her nails painted now that she is four.  A friend of ours recommended making it a special thing between her and Papa and now Os is getting repeated requests to open up the nail shop.

Winter Recital 2012

I was hoping to upload the video of the boys' playing, but now I can't find the DVD.  I'll get to that once it turns up.  They did such a great job!

Rocky 2012

Uncle Drew gave the boys Rocky IV and since then we've had a new game in the house...

Leaves of Autumn

The kids had great time running and jumping in the leaves with their buddy, Judah.  Alison and I just stood around and snapped pictures. 

 

 

  

 

 

Apple Picking 2012

Our apple picking plans did not quite plan out the way we had hoped, but as you can see from these pictures we still managed to have a good time and get pick plenty of apples.  

I feel like I am trying to recapture the experience of the first time apple picking with the boys.  Let me tell you it took a fraction of the time to fill a huge bag that it took to get a small basket back then.

Our load of apples.  All twenty pounds.  I'm glad my parents are here to teach me how to make apple butter because these aren't exactly pie apples.


At the end my dad found a very heavy, but sweet load of goodness!
