Future Air Force Cadet?

Both Moose and BiggiE are enthralled with jets these days. As you can see, they are trying to pass on the love to their little sister. I am pretty much a pacifist, but maybe these early influences will lead Jelly Belly into the Air Force.

Definitely the Third Child

Gotta love the third child ... falls asleep with the vacuum going, a football game on TV and two brothers running around and yelling.

The Thomas Family Band

Tyler took this little clip of a new band that has recently formed. It looks like BiggiE's on the lyrics and Moose is handling the music.

So far, our forcing of our musical tastes on our children is working just to our liking because they both love The Danielson Familie and Half-Handed Cloud.

(Side Note: It cracks Tyler and me up how BiggiE notices the light and is drawn like a moth.)

"Bunkies" Jumping on the Bed

Gotta love it when the kids start doing their own bedtime stories. BiggiE is a bit distracted in this reading of Eight Silly Monkeys. This book is a really cute version of the story because it ends with "but nobody said anything about jumping on the couch." That pretty much sums up our household. (I think Moose was trying for a cameo that didn't work out.)

The Mind of a Child

Wouldn't you love to know what is going in their heads sometimes? I think if the boys continue on with this video too much there may be less in their heads than when they started.

Puddle Jumping

A week of rain in the forecast so we decided to make the most of it by puddle jumping. The boys were thoroughly entertained. We warmed up with some homemade hot chocolate (minus the green scum) and a bath.

Rockin'

BiggiE received a matching rocking chair to the one Moose received last year for Christmas. Moose's rocker has been a favorite seat for both boys and they were pretty excited to see there are two chairs now. According to this video the chairs are "mine" and "yours". So much for the names on the back...

Twinkle, Twinkle

BiggiE loves to sing. This is his rendition of "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star". I'm hoping to catch a few more of his covers in the near future.

Flight School

A little glimpse into our nightly routine. I must confess that often I think to myself, "Must the Legos be dumped out all over the floor in order to have an airplane?" The answer to everyone else in the family would be, "Yes, of course."

This is a super old video that Tyler made for our parents. It has been about 6 months since this was taken so BiggiE is completely different and would be singing along with Moose if we filmed it now. Actually, I am trying to think how to capture BiggiE singing. He is hilarious because he pretty much gets the tune and then throws in a word here and there. He reminds us of someone trying to sing along with the radio. It is amazing the difference 6 months makes for both Moose and BiggiE.
