St. Louis - 2012

We had a great week in St. Louis for Tyler's "work" trip.  He worked and the rest of us had fun.

No trip to St. Louis is complete without a visit to their awesome zoo, which is FREE.  How could one resist?

Love seeing the tiger this close.

All three kids hollered, "All abroad!" for the zoo train.

Playing horse.  Yes, I won a game and I am overly proud of myself.

Grandmere's delicious blueberry pie

The sleeping fort constructing by the kids (read Os) down in the basement.  Sibling sleepover fun!

A trip to Ted Drew's.  This may be heretical, but it seems like it is not as delicious as it used to be.  Anyone?

On our way from the parking lot to the circus we passed this cool art installation.  BiggiE and Jelly Bean are even color coordinated.

This circus reminds me of an old school one where you sit so close and can see all the action.  I was really impressed, especially with the tight rope walkers who didn't even use a net.  One cool aside - the sisters who performed on the hanging ring are these French girls that we first saw at a circus school in San Francisco.  I guess this is were they go after school...

My reading of their minds, "Yes, we're smiling.  Now hurry and take the picture so we can keep stuffing our faces with spun sugar!"

I'll have to do another post covering the City Museum and Cardinals game...
